Ridgewood Brothers For Valentines Day 2025

This was for our Valentines Day Meal. We didn’t eat breakfast and waited till lunch for our first meal.

My wife and I are both doing carnivore today, so we both had two half pounds of meat. She had brisket and pork burnt ends. I had brisket and smoked turkey, then we split the burnt ends and smoked turkey. Our son had a 2 meat platter. He had brisket, smoked turkey and two sides plus a dessert. His sides were cheesy grits, potato salad and then banana pudding for dessert.

We all loved the meat. The brisket was tender and smoked just right. My wife and I both asked for sauce on the side.

My favorite was the pork burnt ends. I added just a little bit of sauce as I felt it was needed as I am not a big fan of “sweet meat”, but I felt the hot sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and heat added to the smokiness of the meat.

Our son wanted sides. My wife also tried the sides and said that the potato salad was “very good”. She said it was one of the better potato salads she had. She is not a big fan of grits, but said she liked theirs.

My son and wife both said that they really liked the banana pudding. My son said that the cookies were still crunchy.

Our total was $88 and some change.

Power Supply compete in Conway

Power Supply, the Russellville Home School Vex Robotics Team, competed in the Conway Arkansas 2025 High School February Frostbite tournament on February 8, 2025.

The competition was held in the school’s cafeteria where family and friends gathered to watch a total of 34 High School teams from around the state battle it out for the chance to win a spot at the upcoming State Champions.

Below are some highlights from the event. One of those great highlights was the Conway Fire Department bringing out their 3 Bomb Squad Robots.

Our team members, as well as other students, had a blast looking the robots over and even got a chance to drive the bots themselves!

We appreciate the Fire Department for taking the time to come out and invest their time into the teams! It was amazing to see just how robots can be used in life-saving maneuvers.

In the end, Power Supply came home without a win from the tournament, but the guys worked hard and did their best. Not to mention they walked away with a lot of inspiration to carry with them as they move forward.

The team will be competing again in a few weeks and we can’t wait to see how well they do! Good luck Power Suppy!
